No. The Answer To Your Question, Rodney, Is No. Apparently Not.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Rodney King, whose beating by Los Angeles police in 1991 drew international headlines, has been shot, but his wounds are not life-threatening, according to media reports.

Rialto police Sergeant Don Lewis told the Riverside Press-Enterprise that King was hit in the face and arm by shotgun pellets on a San Bernardino street corner Wednesday night. He bicycled to his home in neighboring Rialto to call police and was taken to a hospital.

Police said when they arrived at the home, King and others there appeared drunk and few were cooperative in providing information.

My favorite parts of this are that he rode his bike home after getting shot in the face, and he was drunk. Fantastic.

Timing

The strike is in full effect. Wow. I am so glad I came out here when I did. Meanwhile, back in Chicago I have turned down like three gigs. Yeah, they would have been worth it if it were 20 to 100 dollars to fly. Not complaining nor am I saying it's bad luck. Because it's not. I don't have bad luck. I have life lessons. Everything is learning and growing. And Dad, I am not really living in my car. I have a very comfortable couch (thank you Brian, Christian and Larry). Very comfortable. More comfortable than any bed I have ever slept on in my life. It was funny, yesterday I was talking to Inda and she was like hey Kevin are you doing okay. I was like yeah, and she was like are you eating well and I was like yeah... just as I was ordering a large fry from Jack in the Box. It was hillarious. Oh timing. I was going to order a cup of water and they wanted a nickel for the cup.I was too proud to get out of my car and search the ground for the two extra pennies.

Making Room

Big things are about to happen. I don't know what, but I know they are. They have kinda already started happening, to be honest... more on that in future blogs.

I have had to deal with a lot of stuff since moving here. UNNECESSARY stuff, stuff that should have been taken care of before I moved here, stuff out of my control, stuff that just came out of nowhere, and stuff that I have trusted other people to take care of.

See, God gets you in a place to receive His blessings. So I could sit here and complain about all this stuff, but I think it's Him making room by bringing all this stuff to light so that I can deal with all of this stuff and make room for what ever He has planned for me.
