Aspen Day Four

I got a scary phone call at 8:25 this morning from an HBO staff person asking where we were since we had an 8:20 a.m. TV interview. The interview is actually scheduled for Saturday morning, and he had been misinformed. Whew! I thought I'd slept through an entire day after all those Sierra Mist cocktails last night.

We saw five different shows yesterday! Good grief, that's a lot of funny. I'm up to here (you can only imagine where I'm holding my hand) with comedy. Most of it was hilarious. Especially loved Summer of Tears, Brendan Hunt: Five Years in Amsterdam, Hari Kondabolu (pictured) and Jonathan Coulton.

We have a show tonight so we're off to put postcards at all the venues to make sure people remember our faces and show up. We'll be doing that just as soon as Kevin and Marshall wake up from their Mist-induced comas. I hope they didn't do anything dangerous last night after I went to bed and they went off to another after party. They're big boys. They can take care of themselves. But if one more local White chick sneaks into a private party, shaking her booty, trying to get a little Black strange from one of my boys, I'm going ghetto.
